Congratulations to our March Tigers of the Month! Kindergartners Rosa Sanchez and Joseph Rodas will be recognized at our April 16th board meeting. They also enjoyed a McDonalds Happy Meal last week.
Congratulations to Ms. Janice Barton and Ms. Tracy Tutt for being voted our March Tigers of the Month. These ladies go above and beyond their positions as administrative assistants. We will recognize them, along with our April Tigers of the Month at the April 16th board meeting at 5:30pm.
How did we get here? It's difficult to believe, but we are already a week into the final six weeks! We wrapped up the 5th Six Weeks with some positively pink office referrals and recognized our students who were nominated for being responsible. Great job, Tigers!

Tenaha ISD would like to extend a hearty CONGRATULATIONS to the teams below on their outstanding seasons concluding with advancements to either the UIL Regional or State Basketball Tournaments. All of these teams will be a part of HOLIDAY HOOPS 2024 December 26-28, 2024 at the Tenaha ISD Special Events Center! It's YEAR 15, so expect the BIGGEST and BEST Tournament YET!! Best of Luck to our Junior High Track athletes as they are in Beckville today competing; go get em' TIGERS!!! Let's bring home some hardware!! Our High School Boys Track team will travel to Winona later this week on Thursday for the Winona Relays.

PROM 2024!!! Better Together is the theme for this year's prom that will be held April 6, 2024 at Tuxedo Springs in Center, TX at 7pm. Tickets may be purchased beginning March 18th for $25 each.
Students have been notified multiple times about requirements and dress code in their google classrooms as well as in school announcements: HOWEVER, any JUNIOR planning to attend prom, must have their dues paid (up to date) by Tuesday, March 19th. Please note: this is an extension on the previously set deadline of March 8th.

It's a busy day for our TIGERS this FRIDAY!! Our Boys Track team left bright and early headed to Union Grove for their first meet of the season, the Dee Mackey Relays. We wish them all the very best of luck today as they begin this new season.
This afternoon, our boys and girls soccer teams will play Kilgore here in The Pit beginning with the Lady Tigers at 5pm, followed by the Tigers at 6:45. We invite everyone out to watch these two teams in action; they have really had a great inaugural UIL season so far!
We are only a few short days away from SPRING BREAK...so hang in there Tigers and keep on pushing!!

Just a reminder for those interested in trying out for cheerleader/mascot for the 2024-2025 school year, there will be a MANDATORY Parent meeting this evening at 5:15; this meeting is for those trying out for HIGH SCHOOL CHEER/MASCOT only (current 8th graders-current 11th graders).
TOMORROW is the FINAL DAY to get your 23-24 Yearbook for $35!!! After 2/28, the price increases to $40 until 3/28; then final sales are $45 for all books purchased AFTER 3/28. Yearbooks can be purchased ONLINE at www.balfour.com or you can purchase them at school from Mrs. Huckabee.
We are excited to host the Boys UIL Basketball Regional Quarterfinal Championship between the Shelbyville Dragons and the Timpson Bears this evening at 7pm in the SEC! We will have the Tiger Café open tonight serving your choice of Boiled Shrimp, Cajun Fried Catfish or Chicken Strips, Baked Potato or French Fries, Cole Slaw and Tea all for just $10! The Café will open at 5:45 and close at 8pm.
Tonight, our Tenaha Soccer teams will also be playing in The Pit taking on the Tatum Eagles beginning with our Lady Tigers at 5pm, followed by the boys at 6:45. We ask that all soccer fans enter and park using the LOWER STADIUM GATE, leaving all upper parking for basketball patrons this evening.
It is going to be a fun evening, whatever your sport of choice is...so come out and enjoy great night in TENAHA!!
