Traditions Portraits will be back on campus March 10th for the following pictures:
1) Cap & Gown Retakes (Seniors & Kindergarten) - Male students should wear a collard button-down white shirt & females need to have a tank on so that the collar of their shirt will not show. If you wish to bring your own gown and tassel for pictures, you may do so.
**If you need a retake, please let Mrs. Huckabee know by Wednesday, March 8th**
2) Soccer & Basketball Pictures - individual and team pictures will be taken (both JH & HS)
3) Daycare ONLY Spring Pictures (we will send order forms home next week)
Our Varsity Boys Distance Runners traveled to Frankston this past week to compete in a practice meet as they gear up for the 2023 Track season. In true Tiger fashion, they made a terrific showing. Congratulations to these runners!!

Mrs. Barr has given each Senior a Scholarship Packet as of this morning. These should be coming home with the students. This packet includes information and applications for LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS that are available. She has printed everything for them.
Please work with your student to complete this information and either return to Mrs. Barr or follow the guidelines and instructions specified on the application.
We have so many wonderful scholarship opportunities LOCALLY!! Take time to complete this packet and benefit from the generosity of these organizations and businesses. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Stacie Barr at the High School.

We have yet another BUSY week here in TigerLand for all of our students! A few reminders for you of things going on around the district:
This week is Read Across America Week, nationwide, therefore, we are celebrating in the Elementary by dressing up each day. See the information attached for each day's theme!
Also, a friendly reminder to purchase your tickets to the Spring Gala that will be held March 11th at 6pm here in the TISD Cafeteria. This is a formal event for students 3-13 years of age and adults, which benefits the Elementary School with funds raised. You must pre-purchase tickets to the event through the Elementary Office. Only a limited number of tickets will be sold so get yours right away before we are sold out!!
REMINDER: All TISD Campuses will early release at 2pm today; buses will begin loading around 1:40-1:45pm.

We hope you're packed for the weekend because our Lady Tigers have a couple of games to take care of in Athens this weekend!! Game 1 TONIGHT at 6pm - Athens High School - Tenaha vs Martins Mill. Tenaha is the VISITOR and fans will sit on the South Side across from the team benches. REMEMBER CLEAR BAGS ONLY!! Adult tickets are $10/Student and Children are $5; doors open 30 minutes prior to tip-off.
Tomorrow, the winner of Game 1 will advance to the Regional Finals which tips at 1:00pm.

Tonight is the NIGHT!! Our Tiger Basketball team takes #Round2 to Henderson High School where they face the Overton Mustangs at 6:30pm. Tenaha is the Home team tonight. Adult tickets are $5 and Student/Children are $3.
In the event you are unable to attend tonight's game, our friends at KGAS in conjunction with NFHS will be livestreaming (both radio and video)the game at the link below. Please be advised that a subscription will be needed to view the video stream via the NFHS Network. However, the subscription is well worth the investment as it allows you to view all games that take place in the SEC and at Raymond Jackson Stadium, along with any away games where the hosting facility also streams with NFHS. FAN BUS #1 is FULL!! You have until 3:30 TOMORROW afternoon to reserve your ticket for FAN BUS #2 to the Girls Regional Tournament game, Friday, February 24, 2023 at 6pm in Athens. The Lady Tigers will play the Lady Mustangs of Martins Mill. This ticket is free of charge, but must be reserved and picked up at the High School main office by 3:30 tomorrow. 25 tickets must be reserved in order to send a second bus to Athens. In the event the Lady Tigers play Saturday in the Finals, those who have tickets Friday, will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets to ride Saturday. The fan buses will leave at 3:30 Friday afternoon from the Tiger Gym parking lot and will return immediately following the conclusion of the game. The bus will leave at 9:30am on Saturday should the fan buses be returning to Athens Saturday morning.

The Boys AREA Basketball CHAMPIONSHIP will be TOMORROW NIGHT at Henderson High School, 6:30pm vs Overton! Your Tenaha Tigers will be the Home team. Ticket prices are $5 for Adults, $3 for Students and Children. The only passes that will be accepted are TABC and THSCA.
We need all of Tiger Nation to show up TOMORROW to support this team and their coaches. They put on an incredible showing last night and have the opportunity to take this a LONG WAY!!! LET'S GO TIGERS!!!
