Attention Tigers!!
For the next three days, we will put our Triangle Philosophy into practice. In an effort to allow our football team and band students ample time to prepare for the game Friday, the "flipped schedule" below will be followed through Friday. A big thank you to our neighboring schools for allowing us to use their facilities to practice, Carthage ISD and Timpson ISD!! It takes a village, and we sincerely appreciate your generosity!
Please note: there are schedules for both HS/MS & Elementary
TIGERS!!! It’s that time….Well-Dressed WEDNESDAY🐅🐅🐅 Let’s see it!!!
The Tenaha vs West Sabine varsity football game will take place at the Timpson ISD Stadium; kick off is set for 7pm. Tenaha will be the home team for this game.
Although we are thankful for the much needed rain, unfortunately the rain received the past two days with chances for more the remainder of the week, have forced us to make this decision. The safety of our athletes, along with the amount of time, effort and financial expense that is put into maintaining our beautiful grass field at “The Pit” are our priorities in decisions such as this. In addition to our Tiger Football teams, both Junior High and High School, and the Roarin’ Band needing the field in its best condition possible, we also have our upcoming soccer season to keep in mind as well. As much as we were hoping to kick off the season in The Pit, we know this is the best decision for all involved. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Season Tickets and Season Parking Passes will be honored at the game in Timpson. When you arrive, season ticket and parking pass holders will turn left after passing the high school and continue to the back of the stadium by the Timpson Event Center. We ask that employees also park in this area as well.
Pre-sale tickets will NOT be available this week; all tickets will be sold at the gate for $3 (Students)/$5 (Adults). Both Cash and Card will be accepted.
We look forward to seeing you in Timpson this Friday night. GOOOO TIGERS!!!!
CALLING ALL TIGER FANS!! Tenaha Football is selling window stickers for $20 each. You can purchase the stickers from Coach Ward or at the gate of any HOME football game. We will sell them until they sell out!! Thanks for your support!
Don't FORGET!! Fall Pictures for all students and staff will be this Thursday, August 25th!
Traditions Portraits will be our official photographers again this year. As we did last year, students will be given a "ticket" once their photo is taken. This ticket will have a number on it that will be used to look up the proof and purchase any photos or packages. If your student loses their ticket...NEVER FEAR! The proof can be looked up by email or Student ID #.
Order forms and reminders are going home this afternoon! Use the link below to pre-purchase your Fall Portraits!

Tenaha ISD is proud to support the "Well-Dressed Wednesday" movement that has started across some East Texas schools recently!! This is a fun opportunity for students and staff alike to "dress in their best" each Wednesday in an effort to educate our youth about professional dress and demonstrate how looking your best, can make you not only FEEL your best...but DO your best as well... plus, we can have a little FUN while doing it too!! We encourage all of our Tigers to join us each Wednesday!

ATTENTION TigerNation:
The safety and security of our students and staff are our number one priority at Tenaha ISD. Unfortunately, the acts of mass violence you see and hear about around the country force us to evaluate and update our policies frequently. However, we want you to know that we do not take this responsibility lightly and we sincerely thank you for entrusting your children with us each day.
The following updates regarding Parent/Guardian Conferences will be effective immediately:
All parent/guardian conferences must be scheduled between the hours of 8:00am - 10:00am or 2:00pm-3:00pm . These conferences should be scheduled through each campus office in advance. All visitors will be notified at the time of scheduling that they will be asked to submit to a voluntary security screening conducted by Officer Jeter prior to being allowed entry beyond the campus lobby. In the event the visitor does not comply with this screening, entry will be denied.
To schedule a conference, please call:
High School or Middle School: 936-248-5000 ext:501
Elementary School: 936-248-5000 ext:301
Again, thank you for your cooperation and attention to this matter. Our goal is to provide quality, educational opportunities to our students in a safe environment.
Tiger Transportation Update:
As we continue to update our fleet of buses, you may notice the others being moved to storage. These older buses will be stored and used for parts when the need for repairs and maintenance arises.
Let's GO Tigers!!!
A Note from Mrs. Ward:
"We were so excited to welcome all of our returning and new students back to TES. I was impressed watching your children get "right back into the swing of things"!
BEGINNING TOMORROW: Elementary parents will be asked to drop their students off with Mrs. Stacie at the gate. She will make sure they get safely inside. If you need something from the office, you are welcome to come in the first set of doors. Parents will not be allowed in the building beyond the lobby area without a scheduled conference, as we closely follow our safety protocols daily.
Thank you for entrusting your children with us. It's a GREAT day to be a TIGER!
