Our K-6 Tigers have a chance to earn a TIGER lanyard each six weeks. This is no easy task! They must have Terrific behavior, reach their Ixl goal, show Growth, have Excellent attendance, and be Relentless in PE and band. These boys and girls got the first six week's hole punched on their card which earned them an ice pop and bragging rights as they wore their lanyards all day. If they get 3 holes punched in a row, they can earn a field trip at the end of the year. GREAT JOB! We will be doing a different challenge for our PK 4 kiddos, so stay tuned.

**Attention Tenaha ISD Students!** Each year, the Department of Education chooses a theme for Hispanic Heritage Month, and this year’s theme is **"Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together."** To celebrate, Tenaha ISD will host an art contest for students in three grade divisions: K-2, 3-6, and 7-12. The 1st place prize in each division will be **$50 CASH!** Entry dates will run from **September 25th through October 11th**. Students in grades K-6 should turn in their entries to **Mrs. Sisk**, while students in grades 7-12 can submit theirs to **Mr. Leos**. Please remember that all exhibits must be original works; no entries from kits or pre-cut materials will be accepted. You may use 8 1/2 x 11 paper, construction paper, or half a page of poster board. Make sure not to write your name on the front of your entry; instead, write your name and grade level on the back. All art entries will be judged by community members, and we are excited to see your creativity! Good luck! 🌟🎉
