Reintroducing Kale Page! Having been involved with the band for years since graduating from TISD, Kale will be working full-time with the percussion section this year to keep producing those fire Tiger Drumline beats.
When not at the school drumming or improvising music on the vibraphone, Kale can usually be found gaming, learning new skills, or spending time with his niece. We can not wait to enjoy the band's performances this year!

Meet Coach Pledger, our newest addition to the Tiger family! Born and raised in Timpson, Texas, Coach Pledger graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 2022. His passion for serving others shines in his dedication to teaching and coaching as he enters year 2 of this wonderful profession.
This year, he’ll be our wide receiver coach and kickers coach for football and the assistant varsity boys' soccer coach. In the classroom, he will be teaching 7th and 8th grade science, as well as two senior-level classes.
Supported by his lovely wife, Katie, and their families, Coach Pledger enjoys golf, hunting with his hound dogs and fishing. He strives to put God first in everything he does and is excited for the year ahead.

🎉 We are thrilled to introduce Dominique Williams, a dedicated educator and Texarkana native, to our school community! Dominique, the son of Rutha James, graduated from Liberty-Eylau, where he was in the top 40 of his class. He continued his journey through several universities as a football player before transitioning into education.
Dominique brings a wealth of experience from his 3 years as a 5th grade PE paraprofessional at Liberty-Eylau Middle School. He is passionate about making a positive impact and sharing knowledge with others. Outside of his professional life, Dominique is a devoted father to his son Kaizer Williams and enjoys spending time with his siblings—sisters Jasminena Waring and Diaminique Williams, and brother Monquez Moore. He is also a proud Godfather to Aurianna Green.

We’re thrilled to welcome Coach Hairgrove to Tenaha High School for his 33rd year of coaching and his first year with us as Offensive Coordinator! His coaching journey has spanned North Texas, Southeast Texas, South Texas, Central Texas, and now back to East Texas. A 1991 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, Coach Hairgrove was a key player for the Lumberjacks, who earned a top national ranking in 1988 and competed for the 1-AA National Title in 1989.
Outside of coaching, Coach Hairgrove will be teaching in the Special Education Department and leading our Tigers as Head Track Coach. He and his wife Andrea, who coaches at Beckville High School, have a wonderful family of seven: Taylor, Wyatt, Tristan, Abram, Brandt, Ryan, and Amber.

On May 17, 2005, the Tenaha Independent School District Board of Trustees approved the creation of the Tenaha Tiger Hall of Honor in order to recognize those individuals that have distinguished themselves as past or current educators, alumni, or supporters of the Tenaha school system.
Either a brunch or meal is served at some point during the day and a plaque is presented to honoree (s) and a very distinguished plaque with their picture is placed in the high school foyer.
All Hall of Honor inductees and their immediate families are presented to the community on the football field prior to the Tiger Homecoming Game or other game time if that happens to be the case. Six complimentary tickets are provided, and a designated seating area is provided.
Rules:
Inductees: Four Categories
A. Alumni
B. Athletes
C. Educators
D. Supporters
Inductees may be nominated five years after graduation or have given five years of service to Tenaha ISD.
Class of 2024: 1-2 Honorees nominated by at least 3 TISD Alumni as chosen by the Hall of Honor Committee and approved by the Tenaha Independent School District’s Board of Trustees.
Selection Committee: Five person committee (2 rotating board members with annual terms and 3 resident Alumni Members)
The 20th annual induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the TISD Cafetorium unless a situation occurs to prevent our convening. All inductees will be introduced to the community during a pre-game ceremony prior to the game.

Nominations to the Hall of Honor must be made by former Tenaha High School Alumni. Nomination forms may be picked up at the Tenaha ISD Administration Office.
Tiger family, it is with a heavy heart that we wanted to share some tragic news. Last night, Bekah Rogers took her husband to the emergency room for a medical emergency. Sadly, he passed away. When Coach Rogers returned to her house, she found their home on fire and completely destroyed. In order to help one of our own, we wanted to share her cash app $BekahRogers89 or you can bring cash donations by the administration office beginning next Monday. Please keep her and their family in your prayers.
Our Tiger Cheerleaders showed up and showed out at cheer camp in Moody Gardens the last four days. Each night, the squad was evaluated on their chant and band dance. Their hard work paid off earning the spirit stick all four days along with a superior blue ribbon and excellent red ribbon for their band dance. Special congratulations to freshman Jaya Johnson, sophomore Kendilyn Bell, and senior Tatyana Adams for being nominated to try out for the All American cheer squad. Mrs. Flournoy, Ms. Amy and Ms. Hunter are extremely proud of their girls and the hard work they put in this week! Tiger fans, get ready for an awesome season and GO TIGERS!

Please come out and let the cheerleaders do the "cookin" for you this Saturday, June 8th as they will be serving BBQ Chicken plate lunches that include BBQ Chicken, beans, potato salad or potato chips, bread, BBQ sauce and a water ALL for just $12!!! All proceeds will benefit the Varsity Cheerleaders and their endeavors this upcoming school year!

STUDENT REGISTRATION for the 2024-2025 School Year is NOW LIVE!! As we mentioned earlier this year, registration has moved ONLINE. ALL STUDENTS attending Tenaha ISD will have to complete the registration process, which has TWO PARTS!! There are also dates and times listed for each grade level and when you can come to the school for assistance if needed or available devices for your convenience.
