Hey TIGERS!! The Seniors vs Staff Basketball Game is ON once again this year!! It will be held on May 6th at 2pm in the SEC. Admission is $2 and their will be two other prizes raffled off during half-time of the game!! All proceeds go to benefit Project Graduation!! It's going to be great; you don't want to miss out on all the fun!!

The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) announced the four finalists and winner of the Dean Weese Outstanding Coach Award recently, honoring coaches from around the state for their hard work and dedication to their student-athletes.
TABC awards are nominated by Texas High School basketball coaches and voted on by Regional coordinators and committees.
Coaches cannot nominate themselves, so in order to be considered for this award you must be nominated by another head coach in the state, which makes this award even more meaningful.
Winners will be recognized at The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Clinic May 16-18 in San Antonio.
Weese, a legendary women’s basketball coach amassed an incredible 1,207-197 record in a 42-year coaching career at the high school, colligate and professional levels. Weese has been inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, Texas High School Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame, Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame, and Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame. He was also selected as the 2000 National Girls’ Sport Coach of the Year by the National Federation Coaches Association.

ATTENTION ALL CURRENT 6th-11th GRADE STUDENTS planning to participate in BAND OR ATHLETICS for the 2024-2025 School Year:
Tenaha ISD will be making pre-participation physicals available free of charge to the students on May 8th in Marshall. The school will transport those students who have completed the necessary paperwork and returned it. The forms can be found at the link below or by scanning the QR code attached. These forms are fillable online and can be digitally signed and submitted without printing.
Should you forgo this opportunity to have your physical done on this day, you will be required to get your own physical scheduled and completed at your cost before being allowed to participate in any sports or band activities.

Congratulations to both our Boys and Girls Soccer teams on their All District and All State awards for the 23-24 season!! This was our school's first year to compete in district play, and 4A soccer at that!! These athletes and their coaches did a phenomenal job and represented our school well!!

⚽️Tenaha Middle school soccer tournament was a great success. Thanks to everyone that worked and helped out this weekend, big shout out to Brian Sours for his donations of Gatorade to our concession stand. And another big shout out to Carlos Lara Cervantes and Damien Escalante for being selected to the All Tournament team!! It was a great weekend of soccer for East Texas!! ⚽️
