As we wrap up testing this week, we are down to JUST TWO WEEKS of SCHOOL for the year!!! With that comes a TON of end of year events! Check out the listing below for events currently scheduled! Our final day of school for SENIORS is May 1st; the final day of school for all others is May 10th with an early release schedule for 11:30am! You are on the home stretch TIGERS...finish strong!!!

Congratulations to our Tennis Tigers on their performances at the District Tennis Match yesterday in Center. These students are all new to the game and did an outstanding job this year. Thank you Coach Ward for taking time to introduce these students to the sport and spending your afternoons at the Center courts with them practicing!! Spring Portraits, Elementary Class Pictures and Track/Tennis Sports Photos will be THIS FRIDAY, April 26th beginning at 8am. Each student will have a photo made and parents can view those online the following week at www.traditionsportraits.com. You may view and purchase your photos online and those will be mailed directly to your home. Your student should bring home a "ticket" that has a QR code on it to scan to view the photos directly, however, if not you may logon to the Traditions Website, use your student's ID # (lunch number) and your email address. This should let you access the proofs. If not, email support@traditionsportraits.com and they will further assist you!

Week 2 of testing begins tomorrow. As a friendly reminder, please ensure your student gets plenty of rest this week before testing days and comes to school on-time with a positive attitude!! Tomorrow, we will have the 5th & 8th Grade Science STAAR and the Biology EOC. You've got this TIGERS!!

Whewwww!! What a WEEK!! You DID it TIGERS!! Day 3 of testing is COMPLETE!! We will start Week 2 of testing next Tuesday with our Grade 5 & 8 Science STAAR and Biology EOC!

Tenaha ISD cordially invited the families of the Class of 2024 to join us on May 1st for the Senior Final Walk and Slideshow. The festivities will begin at 9:00am in the Cafeteria. Seniors will walk the halls in their cap & gowns and then will finish on stage where they will be introduced in front of family and sit together to watch their slideshow. Seniors will take group pictures afterward (weather pending) at the Stadium. Please make plans to join us for this special celebration of our graduating Class of 2024!!

We have a few tips to help with the PK & Kindergarten Online Registration that is open until April 30th ONLINE!! 1) PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE REGISTRATION LANDING PAGE CAREFULLY!! This page can be found at www.tenahaisd.com and either click on the registration link in the gallery or on the Parent Portal Button below the gallery. *THERE ARE TWO PARTS TO THE ONLINE REGISTRATION: ONE PART IS DONE THROUGH PARENT PORTAL; THE OTHER IS LINKED ON THE LANDING PAGE. BOTH PARTS MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED FOR YOUR REGISTRATION TO BE REVIEWED!! *USE THE MOZILLA FIREFOX BROWSER IF POSSIBLE!! Remember: This current window for registration is ONLY for INCOMING PK & Kindergarten students for the 24-25 school year. We will be sharing a registration calendar soon along with instruction videos for completing the registration at home.

Best of Luck to our Varsity Boys Track team as they travel to Palestine to compete in the Regional Track Meet tomorrow and Saturday. The field events and 3200 finals will be completed on Friday morning; running prelims will begin at 5:30pm on Friday afternoon. The running finals will be held on Saturday beginning at 12:00pm with the medal presentation immediately following each race. *No parents/fans will be allowed on the track. *No pets are allowed in the stadium *Only water will be allowed on the track/turf areas *Admission: 2 day pass: Adults - $15 & Students - $7 Go SHOW OUT TIGERS!!

REMINDER!! A rep from Panola College will be on hand this evening at 5:30pm in the TISD Cafetorium to help any senior complete their FAFSA forms! You will need to bring your 2022 Tax Information to complete the packet.

CONGRATULATIONS to our very own Coach Laura Walker-Holmes on being selected as one of 2 Head Coaches for the upcoming 19th annual Azalea Orthopedic All Stars Basketball Classic! She will lead the Girls EAST team this Saturday as they take on the Girls WEST team at 5:30pm at Tyler Junior College's Wagstaff Gymnasium. Holmes will be joined by assistant coach, Darvin Peterson. The two rosters are stacked with elite, top-tiered high school athletes representing their schools and hometowns. For those wishing to attend, doors open at 5:00 PM on April 20. Tickets are $6.00 for adults; students are $3.00 or free with a student ID, and free for children 5 and under. Proceeds from the All-Stars game benefit the Bethesda Health Clinic. TJC accepts cash or credit card for tickets. Tickets can also be purchased in advance at https://www.apacheathletics.com/tickets. Best of Luck Coach Holmes and Girls EAST!!

Just a friendly reminder to all families of incoming PK 3 & 4 and incoming Kindergarteners for 2024-2025, ONLINE REGISTRATION is OPEN!! We are only doing online registration this year, so in order for your student to attend school next year, this must be done. Registration for these grade levels will close on April 30th! There will be windows for registration for all other grade levels shared soon; please do not register online at this time unless you have an incoming PK or Kindergartener!!! To register online, visit www.tenahaisd.com and either click the Online Registration link on the homepage gallery or click the Parent Portal button just below the gallery. This will take you to the Parent Portal login landing page that includes detailed instructions for the registration process. Please read and follow these instructions.
